Jeff
Tidwell, President and CEO
Mr. Tidwell
has been active in all facets of the telecommunications business
for over eighteen years. Prior to becoming President and CEO of
@Security, Mr. Tidwell was named President and CEO of SafeCo after
having held a variety of operating, marketing and financial positions.
At SafeCo, Mr. Tidwell as intimately involved in the structuring,
financing, purchasing and selling of over $4 billion of cable TV
assets, including closing large transactions with BellSouth, SBC,
TCI, Cox and Comcast. He has dealt with key Wall Street firms as
well as many venture and institutional investors.
In addition
to his key leadership roles at SafeCo, Mr. Tidwell has directed
investments into a host of telecommunications ventures including
Nextlink Nevada, E-spire, General Communications, Inc., and Thrifty
Call, and has sat on numerous public and private Boards. Mr. Tidwell
joined SafeCo in 1983 as Financial Analyst and was promoted to Vice
President in 1988. In 1991, he was elected Senior Vice President
and promoted to President of Prime II Management in 1996. Mr. Tidwell
is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Texas Graduate
School of Business.
Bryan
Grudowsky, CIO
Mr. Grudowsky
entered the cable industry in 1977 by joining Communications Properties,
Inc. ("CPI") after a twenty-year career as a Marine Corps
Officer. Upon the sale of CPI in 1979 to the Times Mirror Co., he
joined that company as Senior Vice President and was responsible
for all franchising and regulatory activities. Mr. Grudowsky was
also President of Times Mirror Securities which was later acquired
by Westec. Since 1983, he has been a principal and partner in SafeCo
and Prime Management where he has been instrumental in acquiring,
operating and divesting over $4 billion of cable assets representing
over one million subscribers. Mr. Grudowsky has served on the NCTA
Board of Directors since 1979 and was its Chairman from 1990-91.
He is currently on the Board of C-SPAN. Mr. Grudowsky is a graduate
of Bellarmine College and the University of Texas School of Law.
Ed
Grundy, COO
Mr. Grundy comes
to @Security with a broad range of skills in finance, project management,
engineering and business development. While serving as Director
of Business Development at SafeCo, Mr. Grundy spearheaded the development
and launch of the Las Vegas News Channel.
Prior to joining
SafeCo in 1998, Mr. Grundy was co-founder and Chief Financial Officer
of Laguna Entertainment and Marketing, a company that produced and
syndicated a Spanish-language National Football League television
show. Mr. Grundy received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering
from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from the University
of Texas Graduate School of Business.
